Acting as a yearlong confider and mentor for a vulnerable adolescent can help promote leadership, personal growth, and hope. Backed by our educational training series, volunteers gain the skills to become empowerment catalysts in a year-long pen pal program. And with our digital letter transmission system, you can send your two letters a month any time from anywhere. Your only cost as a volunteer is a pen, paper, and time.
Fundraising is a great way to both raise funds for our mentorship and service programs as well as spread the world about PENdulum Global. If you are interested in holding a fundraiser, please refer to the fundraising document below for fundraising ideas. When you are ready, complete the following form so that we can learn about your idea and how to support you!
A Message from the co-founders:
Thank you for visiting PENdulum Global's website! PENdulum Global is proudly the world's first cohesive youth empowerment non-profit organization. As you explore our pages, we hope to inspire you to become a part of our education, empowerment, and service initiatives for vulnerable adolescents.
PENdulum Global believes young adults have the capabilities to comprehend, analyze, plan and execute solutions to some of the most complex global issues. That is why our organization taps into the expansively diverse college and young adult demographic in the United States to execute its pen pal program. We are so confident in student leadership that our entire management team is comprised of college students and recent graduates!
All donations that are made to PENdulum Global go directly towards our pen pal mentorship programs and administrative costs to keep the organization running! Approximately 95% of all donations to go directly towards funding pen pal programming and/or individual adolescent-directed service or entrepreneurial projects in Swaziland. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, your donation is tax deductible and would truly make a difference in the lives of vulnerable adolescents. We expect to invest $10,000 each year for the service projects for each of our mentorship programs. Help make that a reality!
